Morgan Corp. is currently searching for an Administrative Assistant in Duncan, SC.

 

The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide administrative support and assistance for the Equipment Division. In addition to reception, filing, and scheduling, this position performs duties such as data entry, record keeping, and payroll tracking.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Greet guests to the shop, receive vendor deliveries, answer calls incoming to the shop switchboard and transfer accordingly.
  • Input and track equipment division craft employee time for payroll processing, including gathering, coding, and submitting time weekly.
  • Act as primary contact for administration, payroll, and HR.
  • Issue purchase orders and process invoices for mechanics ordering parts.
  • Create and submit vehicle setup sheets for approval, and updates approved data into the system.
  • Maintain driver and vehicle information in fleet program. Order fuel cards and sets up PIN numbers as needed. Answer driver questions regarding the vehicle maintenance program and fuel cards.
  • Complete and submit City of Lyman sewer reports.
  • Compile and send monthly vehicle mileage reports to the Safety Director.
  • Renew vehicle registrations and distribute to drivers.
  • Enter equipment meter readings into the system from weekly time sheets.
  • Maintain and update the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) books in the shop as necessary.
  • Code monthly fleet maintenance and fuel invoices.
  • Oversee ordering of office supplies for the shop office.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as needed.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 1 - 2 years administrative experience, preferably in heavy equipment or construction setting
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Highly detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Ability to work in a fast paced constantly changing environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software programs, email and intranet usage

 

 

Work Environment:

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, grasp, reach with hands and arms, see, speak, and hear. Frequently stand and walk.  Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or bend.  The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Most work is performed in office environment.
